At Andning Med we are looking for a lead business developer that would turn the untapped potential of our solution into a successful product, used daily by many patients. We have a lot of market leads and need help from a new potential co-founder to bring them home.

About us
At Andning Med we develop smart intuitive inhalers that help patients inhale their medication correctly and deliver the optimal dose of medication to their lungs.

Every fifth person suffers from respiratory diseases like Asthma or COPD. Patients use an inhaler; however, 90% patients make mistakes during the inhalation, leading to complications and breathless attacks. This represents a large market opportunity with millions of patients.

The journey ahead
We are now developing the final prototype to be tested in a pilot patient study and prepared for manufacturing. We have established partnerships with healthcare providers and patient organizations in Sweden and in India. With the finalized product we will run clinical investigations to launch on the market from 2025.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a business developer with a passion for helping patients, who wants to be part of a start-up team. We are targeting a big international market and we seek someone that wants to take a leading role, define our business strategy and execute it. We will together create new solutions, tackle challenges, brainstorm, test, pivot and iterate in a continuous process to deliver the best product and care.

  • You have experience or are passionate about sales, business development or marketing within healthcare or life science
  • You have built or maintained relationships with customers or stakeholders
  • You have a passion for bringing innovative products to market
  • You are deeply motivated to bring better health to people

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing, testing and verifying the business model and market research
  • Setting up and developing the sales funnel
  • Managing and expanding the stakeholder network
  • Creating and maintaining relationships with partners and customers

Skills & requirements

  • Msc. or Bsc., preferably in business-related topics
  • Excellent English and preferably fluent Swedish

Until initial funding is secured, you will be primarily incentivized via ownership in the company.

We expect you to initially spend 30% of your full-time for the next 6 months and to be able to increase this to full-time when we secure the funding.

We will support you in your intellectual and personal growth, you will learn new innovative approaches to business development including the circular economy. With us you will be part of the KTH startup ecosystem with business coaches, mentors and investors.

About the company
Andning Med was formed around a clear need observed during clinical immersion in primary care. During the Clinical Innovation Fellowship program supported by KTH, Karolinska, RISE and EIT Health the team gained an unprecedented insight into healthcare challenges connected with respiratory diseases. Here the idea for a smart inhalation device was born. Our product is an add-on hardware device that measures the inhalation technique, giving live visual feedback. Our software collects data and enables tracking over time to motivate patients, involve family and inform doctors.
